NiP, VG out on EMS Cup Day one

The first day of the RaidCall EMS One Cup #2 has come to an end, with Ninjas in Pyjamas and VeryGames having already been knocked out.
NiP had already failed to impress in the first cup, in which they finished 3rd-4th following a defeat to Copenhagen Wolves in the semi-finals, and this time around they cut a frustrating figure as they were sent packing after just one game.
Even though Western Wolves have only recently recovered from internal problems, the Danish side made light work out of NiP, defeating the Swedes 16-3 to cause the first big upset of the tournament.
Meanwhile, VeryGames also crashed out of the cup in the Round of 16 following a 21-17 defeat against Natus Vincere, who were playing with Denis "seized" Kostin as a stand-in Yegor "markeloff" Markelov. The result shows that the Frenchmen still have a long way to go to hit top form after picking up Richard "shoxie" Papillon.
NiP continue to struggle online
Fresh off a first-place finish in the first EMS One Cup, Copenhagen Wolves suffered a 16-14 defeat in the quarter-finals against fnatic, whose addition of Finn "karrigan" Andersen seems to have refreshed and reinvigorated the team.
